About Laser

How does the magic work?

The laser energy breaks up ink into fragments which are taken by the scavenger cells in the skin resulting in less tattoo pigment and a gradual disappearance of the tattoo.
On average, professional tattoos require 5-8 treatments for full removal. All treatments are spaced 6 weeks apart. The number of treatments depends on a number of variables (for example: body placement, type of ink, colour etc). Dark and red inks will lighten the best. Oranges and purples usually lighten over time as well. Blue, green and yellow inks are the most difficult to remove and additional treatments are sometimes needed with our Ruby Laser to produce the best results. We use the GOLD STANDARD in medical lasers in 3 wave lengths that allow us to target ALL colours.

Our Laser Machine

MedLite C6, the original Q-Switched laser from Cynosure has long been known as the industry’s gold standard for multi-coloured tattoo removal.
By providing a true flat-top beam profile, MedLite produces consistent results with fewer complications for reliable treatments time after time. MedLite’s homogenous beam delivers energy evenly over the skin’s surface, minimising epidermal injury and increasing patient satisfaction.
The 1064 nm wavelength is ideal for removing black or dark tattoos, as this wavelength of light energy very well absorbed by black ink.
The 532 nm wavelength the most effective wavelength for red ink and other warm-toned colours (including violet, orange, yellow, and brown).
Both wavelengths are safe on all skin types and allow for the most efficacious tattoo laser removal.
