As the name suggests, they are pierced through the soft tissue across the “bridge” of your nose, level with your eyes. People with more square and prominent anatomy tend to have a much higher success rate for healing.

Due to the amount of movement in this area, bridge piercings can be a little high-maintenance and are more prone to migration (when the piercing slowly shifts closer to the surface, often causing excessive scar tissue). As well as movement, wearing glasses can significantly impact the healing process and longevity of your piercing.
